“I am AIRmatic a.k.a. LA Slick D, which stands for Ladies Adore Slick Dante. My name is Dante, and I was born and raised in Los Angeles, California, specifically in Hollywood.

I started making music at around 17 or 18. My journey with rap began when I first heard it at the age of 5. I have two older brothers, and I vividly remember the moment my oldest brother played a cassette he had recorded from Power 106. The track was “Loungin (Who Do Ya Luv)” by LL Cool J. That was in 1995, and from that point on, I was immersed in hip hop culture.”
